BREBES - Field Facilitator Reach Program

Field Facilitator is responsible for the successful implementation of Mercy Corps’ health program in Brebes District – Central Java in the assigned villages.  This includes identify and mobilize local stakeholders’ supports for the program implementation, facilitate collaborative strategic planning and implementation with local
stakeholders from municipality down to sub-district levels, ensuring proper technical assistance to build capacity of local stakeholders to carry out their designated roles in program implementation, monitor and facilitate improvements in policy implementation, organization of behavior change campaigns and monitoring and reporting of program activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

• Minimum 1 year experience in community mobilization / empowerment activities  
• Local resident of Brebes Distric
• Some experience in community health projects
• Education background in medical or public health is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel programs is an advantage.

Program Implementation Director
Specific Requirements

• Close walk with God; wise and consistent behavior; stewardship based on evangelical Christian values; very broad and deep expertise in the area of human growth and development, preferably in child development.
• Masters or equivalent experience in Management/Leadership or Child Development.
• Seven years experience in senior or middle level management.
• Three years child development experience.
• Strong team building and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop strategic plans in a collaborative manner.
• Ability to develop project proposals for funding.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in languages relevant to the country and in English.
• A knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft Office for operational management, including Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage more than 8 staff, including other supervisors.
• Willingness to travel.

Partnership Facilitator (PF)
Specific Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and establishing trusting relationships with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to work with only occasional supervision and willing to be placed
• Good leadership, general management, and problem-solving skills and customer oriented
• Willing to travel in a long term
• Committed to working with the broad spectrum of church denominations.

Training Specialist (TS)
Specific Requirements

• Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating training programs.
• Strong group facilitation skills.
• Ability to facilitate multiple content subject matters through multiple methodologies.
• Able to work collaboratively, cross-culturally, inter-denominationally and cross- organizationally.

Human Resource Associate (HRA)
Specific Requirements

• Fundamental (2-3 years) generalist experience of Human Resources principles and practices.
• Sound judgment, decision-making skills and facilitation skills.
• Capability to handle highly confidential information discreetly.
• Good numerical aptitude and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills. Ability to handle a heavy workload. Must be detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for building support with in-house staff and relationships with external business contacts.

Accountant
Specific Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or related field.
• Ability to supervise one to two people.
• Keeps confidential financial and organizational information.
• Knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft products.
• A working knowledge of financial-related government regulations and laws.
• Good organizational and problem solving skills.
• Basic English skills are recommended.

SDS Associate
Specific Requirements

• Achievement orientation to quality, quantity and timeliness.
• Self-motivated.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to type well.
